What Health Insurance for International Students Renaissance Covers
A voluntary health insurance policy for international students studying and staying in Russia. The program includes emergency outpatient care, emergency inpatient care, urgent dental care within the program and repatriation.
Health Insurance for International Students Renaissance is designed for insured persons aged from 16 to 59 years. The coverage territory is the Russian Federation. The policy may be issued for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, with no waiting period under the product terms.
An insured event is a request by the insured person, referred by the insurer’s medical assistance center, to medical organizations that have contractual relations with the insurer. Medical care is provided for acute illnesses, acute conditions, exacerbations of chronic diseases, injuries and poisoning, provided that the case is covered by the insurance program.
The total coverage amount is up to 800,000 RUB: emergency outpatient care — 300,000 RUB, emergency inpatient care — 100,000 RUB, repatriation — 400,000 RUB.
Emergency outpatient care includes doctor consultations in urgent medical cases, laboratory diagnostics, instrumental diagnostics, medical procedures, treatment manipulations and urgent dental care within the program.
Emergency inpatient care includes ambulance services, emergency hospitalization, diagnostics, treatment, surgical interventions, intensive care, prescribed medicines, dressing materials, immobilization devices and implants within the insurance program.
Urgent dental care is included within the emergency outpatient care limit. No separate dental sublimit is specified in the provided documents. Planned dental treatment is not covered.
