What Health Insurance for International Students Yugoriya Covers
The program includes outpatient care, emergency hospitalization, acute dental care, ambulance services, home doctor visits, telemedicine consultations and repatriation within the program terms.
Health Insurance for International Students Yugoriya is based on the Yugoriya medical insurance program “Student with Dental Coverage”. The insured amount under the program is 500,000 RUB.
The insured amount is aggregate: after each insurance payment, the remaining insured amount is reduced by the amount paid. The limit for medical services is 200,000 RUB, including outpatient care, home medical assistance, acute dental care, inpatient care, laboratory tests and instrumental diagnostics. The limit for medical transportation expenses and repatriation is 300,000 RUB.
Outpatient care includes consultations with a general practitioner and/or specialist — no more than 5 consultations during the policy period, including follow-up consultations. The program also includes primary medical care for acute injury, cast immobilization, dressings, primary surgical wound treatment and tetanus toxoid administration.
The program includes intramuscular, intravenous and subcutaneous injections — no more than 10 injections during the policy period. Laboratory tests include clinical and biochemical blood tests, urine tests and bacteriological tests — no more than 5 tests of each type during the policy period. Instrumental diagnostics include ultrasound, ECG and X-ray — no more than 3 examinations per insured event, strictly as prescribed by a doctor.
Emergency hospitalization is provided based on medical indications and is limited to no more than 14 days once during the policy period. It includes surgical procedures, resuscitation procedures, medication treatment within the cost of a hospital bed-day, accommodation in a general ward, meals and nursing care, subject to the program exclusions.
Acute dental care is covered up to 3,000 RUB. It includes local anesthesia, dental X-ray and surgical dentistry: simple and complex tooth extraction, except for periodontal conditions, congenital diseases and developmental anomalies.
Ambulance services are provided if available in the region. An ambulance must be called through the insurer’s 24/7 medical assistance desk. The program includes ambulance team dispatch, patient examination, rapid diagnostics within the ambulance equipment capacity, emergency medical assistance and medical transportation to hospital if emergency hospitalization is required.
Home medical assistance is provided when the insured person cannot visit a medical facility due to their health condition. The program includes home visits by a general practitioner within the city’s administrative boundaries — no more than 2 visits during the policy period. Home care is provided daily from 10:00 to 21:00, including weekends and public holidays. Same-day doctor call requests are accepted until 15:00.
The coverage territory is the Republic of Crimea. When medical assistance is needed, the insured person must contact the insurer or assistance company, provide policy details, current location, contact phone number and the nature of illness or injury, and follow the specialist’s instructions.
